Roxanne Anderson, LM, CPM
Roxanne Anderson received her midwifery apprenticeship in Texas under Helen Jolly Nelson, and practiced for four years as a home birth midwife in Missouri.
She lived in Asia from 1995-2001 and worked as a full time missionary, dividing her time between a residence in Hong Kong and extensive stays in Nepal and India. Roxanne has three children of her own all by home birth.
Roxanne began work in Liberia in 2009 while acquiring additional experience at birth clinics in Senegal and the Philippines. She holds the Certified Professional Midwife credential issued by the North American Registry of Midwives. Roxanne serves in full time missions as the BESTWA Clinic Director, and is preparing to open a birth and midwifery training center in Buchanan, Liberia.
