With nearly 90% of the country living below the poverty line, malnourishment is rampant among the children of Liberia.  Our feeding program provides hot, nourishing food and something priceless: hope.

After just a few short weeks, the children in our program go from having distended bellies, dull skin, and hair loss to having life return to their bodies, bright smiles and joy returned to their lives.

The positive side effects of the program include less petty crime in the areas where we work, because the children no longer have to steal in order to feed themselves.  They are also receiving the important message that they are valuable people who are loved by God.
